What is Youth Futures?
Youth Futures (formerly known as NYSA {Northern Youth Shelter Association}) is a non profit organisation that offers a number of services aimed at young people.
One of the core services we offer is crisis accommodation for young men who are homeless or at immediate risk of becoming homeless. This part of Youth Futures remains more-or-less unchanged (except for the name). Read more here.
Our other main project is Youth Futures (Inc) Employment Service. This service has many similarities with a Job Network, and basically acts as a job placement agency, but with some very important differences. Read more here.
Other projects we are currently engaged with are The Castle - micro social housing initiative and Wheels 4 Work (independant organisation, auspiced by Youth Futures). We are also currently seeking to expand our training opportunities - more news on this to come!
Where is Youth Futures?
Youth Futures is at 6 Invermay Rd, Inveresk, 7248.It's between Aurora Stadium (York Park) and the Tram Sheds, directly opposite Greg Crick Honda (Launceston's Honda car dealership).
